Possibilities

So much has changed since my last blog post in July!  My apologies for the silence, but I suppose it is fitting, seeing as how my last blog post was called “The Silent Year.”  Here we are, almost a year later. Let’s start with the basics and go back to that good old priority list.

The Silent Year

The day before my 21st birthday, I decided to join Twitter.  One of the customizable elements of Twitter profiles is the background.  I wanted my background to echo my avatar, so I went with the same æsthetic.  As I began to sketch, I realized something was amiss.  (My hand was shaking, but I hadn’t eaten all day.)  The problem was …

The Rothko Canvas

In one of my recent portfolio additions, “Rothko Readymade,” I had a fairly short (but still thorough) description all ready to go.  However, it ended up being a wall of text over the piece and could possibly be a bit scary to look at.  Instead, I decided to post the description in this post for those who really wanted to read …

Hooray, Much Less Food

Powering Forward

Well, this is going absolutely swimmingly!  The design is where I like it, the works are being displayed beautifully, and I found a modular-yet-manageable way to handle testimonials.  It’s manual, but completely worth the extra effort to keep things running smoothly. I was just about to add an animated GIF to punctuate my emotions here, but then I remembered that …

Major Revamp!

Greetings and salutations to all!  In a way, this is the first blog post this site has seen.  In other ways, it’s not.  I had a portfolio up and running, along with some interspersed blog entries.  Well, sometimes you just have to do a clean wipe. So that’s what I did. With a clean start and some new ideas as …
